Interests and Hobbies

Running in the bush has been a life long passion. My favourite way to start the day is on the trail run with my pup Maximus at the Laurentian escarpment near my home. I love training for road races, too, which provide a different challenge to trail racing.

I enjoy all kinds of camping! Each year my family sets up a large canvas tent from May - October at various provincial and private parks. We also backcountry camp in all four seasons - there's something extra special about winter camping in Northern Ontario.

Bass fishing is my favourite: I love to catch from our Sportspal canoe.
I also love to deep sea fish whenever I get the chance.
My biggest catch yet? A 160lb Wells catfish from the Ebro River in Spain.
